Go to your Instagram app

Tap the DM(direct message) icon in the top right corner

Tap Map (It will be one of the circle pictures across the top)

Tap the gear icon in the top right

Select who can view your location which we recommend is set to “no one”

Open Settings on iPhone

Go to Privacy & Security

Go to Location Services

Find Instagram

Select Never

Open settings

Select Apps

Select Instagram

Select Permissions

Select Don’t Allow
