How to screen mirror on Android to your TV

  1. On your mobile phone, drag down the top bar of the Screen.

  2. Tap on Smart View

  3. Tap your TV from the list of available devices

    (Depending on the TV, you may need to enter a PIN)

  4. Tap Start now on the pop-up message that says 'Start mirroring with Smart View?

Stop Screen Mirroring on Android to your TV

  1. On your mobile Phone drag down the top bar of the screen

  2. Tap left

  3. Tap Smart View

  4. The device will disconnect

Streaming videos on Android Using Tap View - For Samsung TVs only

  1. First time users: Make sure that Smart View is allowed on your TV.

    1. Go to TV Settings

    2. Then General

    3. Next, External Device Manager

    4. Device Connect Manager

    5. Access Notification

  2. On your phone, open the mobile SmartThings app, and then tap Menu icon (the three horizontal lines).

  3. Tap Settings (Gear icon)

  4. Scroll down to Tap view.

  5. Tap on the slider to make it go from grey to blue to turn it on.

  6. Bring your phone closer to the TV, and then tap the Allow phone presence detection notification when it appears on your phone screen

Stop streaming videos to TV using Tap View

  1. On your phone, open the mobile SmartThings app, and then tap Menu icon (the three horizontal lines)

  2. Tap settings(Gear icon)

  3. In the settings menu, scroll down to option “Tap View, Tap Sound” with a slider next to it

  4. Tap on the slider to make it go from blue to grey, and you have turned off Tap View
