Note: The latest version for iPhone and iPad is 16.6.1, and you can update it by following these steps:

How to update iPhone, iPad or iPad touch

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap General.

  3. Select Software Update.

  4. Tap Install Now.

  5. Instead of Install Now, you might see Download and Install. If so, select that option to download the update. Then, enter your passcode and select Install Now.

Note: The latest version for Mac is macOS Monterey 13.5.2, and you can update it by following these steps:

How to update macOS

  1. Click on the Apple menu in the corner of the screen.

    1. Click Apple menu > System Settings. Click General on the left side of the System Settings window, then click Software Update on the right.

    2. Or click Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Software Update.

  2. If Software Update finds new software, click Update Now or Upgrade Now.

    1. Enter password to install it

  3. If the Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, then there is no need to continue. Your device is up to date.

  4. If you don't see an item named Software Update in System Settings or System Preferences:

    1. Click the Spotlight icon in the corner of your screen

    2. Type Software Update in the search field

    3. From the search results, choose Software Update

Older Mac

  1. If your older Mac doesn't include Software Update:

    1. Click on the App store located in your Applications folder.

    2. Click Updates tab in the App Store to check for updates, or search for software by name.
