How to Sign up and Install 1Password

Create your account - Enter you Name and Email

Check your email for a verification code to enter

Choose a strong unique password that you can remember

1. Go to <a href="https://1password.com/pricing" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">1Password.com</a>
2. Choose the type of plan you would like 
3. Create your account - Enter you Name and Email
4. Check your email for a verification code to enter
5. Choose a strong unique password that you can remember
6. Type in your Strong password

NOTE: You will need to use this password to unlock your 1Password account and to set up other devices

1. Add a payment method
2. Click Generate Secret Key
3. Save a PDF of your Secret Key

NOTE: 1Password does not keep a record of this Secret Key and can’t recover it. You will need this Secret Key to set up other devices.

Download 1Password for Mac and Windows

Go to <a href="https://1password.com/downloads/mac/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Download 1Password for Mac</a>

Click Download 1Password 8 for Mac

Go to your downloads folder and find the 1Password Installer file and double click

2. Click Download 1Password 8 for Mac
3. Go to your downloads folder and find the 1Password Installer file and double click
4. Sign in to your 1Password account

Click Download 1Password 8 for Windows

Check your downloads to find the 1PasswordSetup-latest file.

Double click file to install it. A window will pop up to install - then click yes.

2. Click Download 1Password 8 for Windows
3. Check your downloads to find the 1PasswordSetup-latest file.
4. Double click file to install it. A window will pop up to install - then click yes.
5. Sign in to your 1Password account.

Download Browser Extensions for 1Password

Go to <a href="https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension/#browsers" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Download 1Password for browser extension</a>

Choose the browser you use and click Install

1. Click Puzzle Piece
2. Click Pin next to 1Password

Enter your account information to sign in

1. Go to <a href="https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension/#browsers" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Download 1Password for browser extension</a>
2. Choose the browser you use and click Install
3. Click Add to Chrome
4. Pin 1Password extension to the toolbar 
 1. Click Puzzle Piece
 2. Click Pin next to 1Password
5. Enter your account information to sign in

Download 1Password for Apple and Android

Go to the App Store and search for 1Password

1. Go to the App Store and search for 1Password
2. Tap Get
3. Open App and tap Sign In
4. Enter your password

Open the app and tap to create an account or sign in 

1. Go to Google play store
2. Tap install
3. Tap Open
4. Open the app and tap to create an account or sign in
